As a sanctioned AKC
breed club, we follow the ethical guidelines
of the parent club, ACKCSC, and also the ethical guidelines of the
AKC.
The ethics below are from our parent club.
ethics: 1. The
discipline dealing with what is good and bad or right and
wrong or with moral duty and obligation. 2. A group of moral
principles
or set of values. 3. Principles of conduct governing an individual
or a
profession: standards of behavior.
We ask our members to endeavor to comply with Ethical Guidelines
based on the following:
1. To maintain the best possible
standards of health and quality of
life for their dogs
2. To breed only from sound stock of
good temperament, taking full
advantage of all available health testing
3. To exercise every possible
precaution as to the placement of puppies
and to only sell puppies and/or older dogs to homes where there is
a reasonable expectation of a healthy and happy life and never
knowingly
to sell to commercial dog wholesale or retail dealers or their
agents.
To take back or help to rehome any unwanted Cavalier they have bred

including good sportsmanship,
helping novices, being truthful in representing your own dogs for
sale or breeding, attempting to breed and show to the standard as
approved by the American Kennel Club.

rules, apply to this club and its members as well as anyone
accepting AKC jurisdiction. |
